My name is Beverley Rossi. My favourite things are my family, dogs, fabric and Italy. I have been always been a keen sewer firstly make clothes for my children when they were young and then my granddaughter.  I moved on to making handbags and purses using the most amazing fabrics and was lucky enough to sell them at markets. 

I have a real love for Fabric and love the way it can used in art. Fabric and embroidery to create art pictures and other items is a real passion of mine. I have been creating pictures  for many years of my favourite places, using applique and Free Motion stitching.  Sometimes I hand embroiderey and use paints. I am not too keen on using paint, preferring to thread paint and let my machine stitching fill in the gaps

I moved on to create soft sculptures of animals , mainly dogs and birds. I just Love creating the dogs to look dog like the breed  but then put my own bent into them, often creating my own fabric by combining to fabrics together to make a totally unique look.

There are no boundaries to what can be created and achieved with fabric and stitching, it is a amazing medium to use in art.
